DaxiTales’ first feature film is currently in development. Written by Rachel Dax Banned Girls is a gritty British drama, saturated with music.

When five young Welsh women set up a rock band and another enters a national talent competition, their lives collide and change beyond recognition. Their story is about fighting for your dreams, fighting for the right to be yourself and fighting to be with the one you love.

Banned Girls boldly tackles the daunting social issues and fears that our young people face today. The everyday realities of sexuality, drugs, and racism, are juxtaposed with the desire to achieve ambitions and dreams in a fast-paced ever-changing society. This film will capture the hearts and minds of the next generation searching for their identity and place in the world.
